Lock items

Lock items to prevent accidental moves, resizes, or edits. Locking is useful for background elements or finalized content.

Select Items

• One item: Click (Mac) or tap (iPad/iPhone) the item.
• Multiple items: Click and drag on the canvas, or tap and drag with your finger.

How to Lock and Unlock

1. Select the item or items you want to lock.
2. Tap the lock button in the toolbar. The item is now locked — it can’t be moved, resized, or edited.
3. To unlock, select the item and tap the lock button again.

Tips

• Keyboard shortcut: Press Command-L to toggle lock on selected items.
