AI Image Generation

Need an illustration, a diagram, or a creative visual? Describe it and Corkulous generates the image and places it on your board. Credits mode image generation works across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Provider Mode also lets you save image defaults.

Generating Images

You can create AI images in two ways:

From the Item Drawer

1. Open your board and tap the item drawer.
2. Select “AI Image” from the options.
3. Describe the image you want.
4. Tap Generate and wait for the image.
5. The image is added to your board automatically.

Through the Agent

In the Agent, simply ask: “Create an image of [your description]”

Examples:

• “Create an image of a sunset over mountains”
• “Generate a cartoon mascot for a tech company”
• “Make an infographic-style image about recycling”

Provider Mode Defaults

In Provider Mode, each media-capable provider card has a Defaults section in AI Settings. For image generation, that is where you save the default size, aspect ratio, quality, style, or number of images for each provider.

The image generation view reads those defaults when it opens. If you change size or quality inside the image sheet, that change applies only to the current request unless you return to Provider Settings and save new defaults there. Reopening the image sheet reloads the saved provider defaults.

Credits Mode Pricing

Image generation cost depends on the selected tier, provider, model, size, resolution, and quality.

Regular image generation is the everyday lower-cost path. Current Credits mode regular images are typically 4 credits per image.

Premium image generation uses a higher-fidelity provider route when available. Current Credits mode premium image options include:

Premium option	Typical credits
Medium square image	9 credits estimated, up to 12 reserved
High wide or tall image	26 credits estimated, up to 33 reserved
High square image	34 credits estimated, up to 43 reserved

Premium estimates are shown before generation. Corkulous may reserve more than the estimate so the request has room to finish, then returns unused reserved credits after settlement. If the provider returns detailed usage, final charge is based on that usage; otherwise Corkulous uses the displayed estimate for the selected image option.

Tips

• Be Descriptive: Include style, colors, mood, and composition.
• Specify Style: “photorealistic”, “cartoon”, “watercolor”, “minimalist”.
• Add Context: “for a business presentation” or “kid-friendly illustration”.
