We're thrilled to announce the release of Corkulous 8.2 for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS (Catalyst). This update brings a host of refinements and new features that make organizing your ideas, projects, and inspirations more intuitive and visually appealing than ever before.
Working with large, complex boards just got easier! On macOS, Corkulous 8.2 introduces enhanced mouse navigation. Scrolling and zooming were first added in version 8. To navigate the canvas, simply hold down the spacebar, click with your mouse, and drag to move around. You can also pan by quickly flicking the canvas and releasing the mouse for a momentum-based effect. See a video!
Our sketch tools have been completely reimagined with more realistic strokes and blended line intersections. Your hand-drawn elements now have a natural, fluid appearance that better matches real-world sketching. We've also added a long-press gesture to the sketch tool for quick stroke width adjustment on the fly—no need to dive into menus when inspiration strikes!
Visual organization reaches new heights with our expanded shape collection. From basic geometric forms to complex diagrams and flow shapes, you'll find the perfect visual elements to structure your thoughts and presentations. Each shape has been designed to maintain Corkulous's tactile, natural aesthetic while providing precise organizational tools.
Text formatting gets a significant upgrade with expanded markdown support. Now you can use:
These additions and enhancements make your text notes more expressive and help distinguish different types of information at a glance.
Audio notes and recordings now feature an updated design with improved playback controls. The new interface makes it easier to record, play, pause, and scrub through audio content, turning Corkulous into an even more effective tool for audio note-taking and voice memos.
Access Board settings to enable pin functionality for multiple item types! This feature enhancement brings an authentic cork board aesthetic to your digital workspace. Now you can visually "pin" notes, images, documents, and more to your board, creating a tactile, realistic organization system that's both functional and visually pleasing.
